I sculpted it with polymer clay, and I loved the freedom it gave me compared to epoxy putties (though I still used GS for some details).

Next up, it's 3d scanning so I can refine it digitally. Can’t wait to paint!

Reaper miniatures bones ape demon with a head conversion to make it a cyclops with a horn growing out of it head. It is now painted purple with the wing bones painted with a yellow bone color that matches the horn.

I got a little painting time this morning so I base coated the purple people eater, and worked some more on the mushroom minis.

I'm really happy with how the troll is coming along.

It was a one eyed, one horned, flying, not yet purple, people eater!

Let it cure for 48 hours just to be safe

So #GreenStuff sell a thing called 'Sculptors Vaseline'.

Apart from being tinted Blue - how is it different from standard #Vaseline ?

I tried to research this on my own but it's seemingly quite difficult without a degree in #chemistry (?)

And tonight I did the greenstuff sculpting I have been planning on.
Covering up the copper wire on the Queen of Hell
Added mushrooms to a troll
Fixed up the horrid gaps on the old displacer beast
And with the leftover I 'sculpted' a couple more mushrooms and flagstones for the orc wizard's base.

Had an hour to work on my #miniatures today, so I spent it pinning together Sauron and this orc wizard, and adding more wires to this #ReaperBones troll to sculpt mushrooms onto.

I have gone miniature painting mad this week! Some of my work. I'm glad I found the headspace for this hobby again, it's really relaxing and it's getting me back into model making too.

A Necron Immortal painted with Green Stuff world paints instead of Citadel or Vallejo. I didn't like how this turned out at first, but it is growing on me.

Because why not start a whole new big mini that I wasn't planning on, thinking about, etc... That of course is going to require some major work to make it work.

The wings on #ReaperMiniatures #Bones Queen of Hell weigh 24g each. The queen & base weigh 30g. With a single small attachment point, the wings are doomed to sag, unless I fix them!

I've got some thick copper wire & a reckless willingness to drill into my toys. We'll see if this works. Next step will be #greenstuff to hide the wire

Last night I finally screwed up the courage to mix up some #greenstuff and get to pushing putty. Of course I mixed too much, but aside from that I'm pretty pleased with the results. I think it looks more like a pile of skulls rather than skull cobblestones, but I'm ok with it. Gonna take another evening to finish it off. Maybe 2. And anything that looks awful I can just cover with some ground texture.
