Guess I maybe didn't share my weaving a lot here, one of the current wips in one of the looms (yes, I have several).
It's gonna be a rug, finished length depends on how far the warp takes me but I hope that it will end up somewhere in the region of 120 cm as if it does I have a buyer for it.

a project still in the loom, the right selvedge is visible above the cloth part is a wooden temple laying on the warp threads. The pattern of the woven is a bit zig zag and horisontal diamonds, pattern color is white with some black speckles and done with a fluffy yarn. Background color is a bright coral/pink.

Second day of shuttle throwing. Caution is out in the wind - no sample space taken as I am going for a top's worth of yardage. About 15.5" in the temple (ie width). Here's to hoping tabby + wool content keep threads flat(ish). #weaving #LouetSpringLoom #floorloom #handspun

Plain weave on a mix of two handspun projects is in progress on a Louet Spring 2 loom. Irieknit has placed a T-pin at the left side of the cloth to mark 43" woven. The warp threads are purple with blue, white and magenta flashes. A single weft of commercial 10/2 Merino/Tencel is used and is slightly finer than the handspun yarns. An end-feed shuttle by Bluster Bay is on the lion's shuttle race over the left selvedge warp threads.

Today I'm working with some rug weaving. Pattern is an enlarged rosepath (technically an overshot weave if you look at the pattern draft).
The pattern is done on 4 shafts and six treadles.
I have a small rowcounter to aid me in keeping track of my pattern picks.

Enlarged rose path weave, where the pattern picks is done with a boucle yarn in white with black speckles. The tabby in between is a coral yarn.
Pattern forms zigzag lines with rombs laying down at regular intervalls.
The pattern draft is seen in the background leaning towards the beater.

Weaving a kitchen towel that is also Jamaica's national colours. This one is with a double boat shuttle.

Mercerized 2/10 cotton added in for a half basket structure on the KISS threading. Other threads are all 2/8 cotton. #weaving #handweaving #jamaica #floorloom

The left selvedge of a handwoven towel shows a black section wound on the cloth beam, a green section under the weaving and gold in progress around the breast beam to the fell. The dimensions under tension will be rectangular for a wide cotton kitchen towel. The high contrast colours are graphic on a yellow warp.

Weaving started! Yesterday was a rest day from the loom.

It is waste yarn at the front of the warp. My bench is Schacht's. As I feared it feels low. I'm getting used to the new feel. Yellow yarn is really yellow on a 24.5" wide warp! #weaving #LouetSpringLoom #floorloom #handweaving

Yellow cotton yarn is warped on a Louet Spring 2 floor loom. A few inches of white cotton yarn is handwoven under tension in plain weave. The warp is threaded in a four shaft pattern and sleyed two ends per dent in the reed. A maple boat shuttle rests upper left side on the loom's shuttle race.

Weaving being as it is, I had to rethread the pattern in the 2nd of 6 repeats. My brain being as it is made the same mistake 9 years ago.

It looks better now, and all threads wound were actually used.

Key difference is that 9 years ago, I didn't see that mistake. A weaver saw from my shared pic, and helped me learn. #weaving #FloorLoom

Good morning! I'm not saying that it is threaded correctly but that I was able to Labor Day weave set-up some more.

Yellow cotton warp threads are being entered through the nylon texolve heddles in a 4-shaft arrangement on a Spring 2 floor loom. The already entered threads to the right are loosely tied in bundles of ten and larger motif repeats are held in cabled cotton contrast cords. The warp is to be sett for 24.5" wide and threads are around 80 percent entered. The image is a closeup of the first shaft to show that progress.

Beamed the warp! This means that I assembled the brake and handle array correctly.

It was a nice improvement over my old set-up with a shaky DIY raddle. #weaving #floorloom

A warp of over 450 threads of yellow cotton is wound on the beam of a floor loom. The loom is on a grey synthetic wall-to-wall carpet and is close to a bay window.

The scarf is off the loom! I love it!
