I was traveling through this town in Iowa while they happened to be having their annual festival. These two were in front of the theatre while I was preparing to snap a pic. I asked them if they wanted to be included. They said yes! Turns out it was a very special photo for them -- the woman was good lifelong friends with the man's son who'd passed. She referred to her friend's father as "dad" and was very happy to have a nice photo of them together. Now, I have to actually send it to them!

The shack is the replica of the original 1840 fisherman’s shack built in 1840. Rockport, Massachusetts felt it was so iconic that they rebuilt it after it was destroyed in the Blizzard of 1978.

Mein Gott! I completely forgot (as part of my creative yearly roundup 2022) I also had a solo show! Albeit in a microgallery. Instant colour photograms mounted onto mylar on the gallery walls.
