A broad tailed dragonfly perches on a bare, angled stalk with transparent, veined wings canted forward; the tail is deep carmine at the end shaded to rose next to the thorax (which has a slight purple tint.) The large compound eyes are such a deep red as to appear brown. Fairly uniform greenish yellow background.
