My first attempt at properly editing something on I've edited simple stuff shot on my phone but this is raw LOG footage from my cinema camera and applying LUTs I've created from power grades developed in Davinci Resolve. Hoping to share something soon! I was thinking about sharing the LUTs if anyone is interested.

As a longtime user I'm giving serious thought to embracing in my creative and professional workflow. Full 10-bit support and GPU acceleration might be the thing to seal the deal but in the meantime I've been turning my node trees into LUTs so I can bring my preferred looks to the system. This will definitely work well for content I make on social media at least as a practicing ground. Any interest in these LUTs?

Found an old stack of #LinuxJournal issues, ca 1997-1999.

Jayyyssus, I had forgotten that there were so so SO many obscure companies that were offering commercial Linux software and services in the late 1990s! I don't get why people still think Linux is such a "new" thing and just "for enthusiasts" - it was clearly starting to become a very serious business OS back in those days.

Also the ads have *so* many companies selling ISP gear, holy crap.

I'm not a serious so I won't be breaking down benchmarks or anything. As you can see I'm playing something that is nearly 7 years old! All I want to say here is that ever since my first install of in 2010, I am thoroughly impressed how far has come in both capability and ease of use. has been nearly a console-like experience for me. So grateful to have access to like this.

I've been trying in @kde for my work as a filmmaker. I've found .fountain syntax useful for distraction-free but it's hard to quickly scan through my script when everything is just a long line of monochrome text. Taking a queue from highlighting in , I'm making a custom so kate can auto highlight scene headings, transitions, and dialogue as their own . I'll share it soon for others who are interested.
