This is one of those images that really shows the scale of #Mountains - if you look closely, you'll see a group of four hikers ascending the skills to where I was standing. That's the scale of these mountains. They are HUGE.

A monochrome image of a tooth shaped mountain rising out of a cloud inversion. Completely immersed the scale is not obvious, until you notice 4 small figures the size of a few pixels only waking along the ridge below as they exit the clouds on their traverse.

For #MountainMonday I have one of my favourite mountains in the #FraserValley of #BritishColumbia - Silver Lake. Hope Mountain is often reflected in Silver Lake here, and makes for a nice spot to visit.

The still water of a lake reflect nearly perfectly a mountain peak on the other side of the lake, along with the green foliage and clearing clouds.

I found this spot particularly hard to photograph. The shrubbery is nearly completely eroded from visitors - I had to use a small shrub to hide the barren landing and create the illusion the shot was taken from a well grown forest. On top of that, it was hard to even find a good view that didn't include various campers or boats within the frame.

I snapped this image with an adapted Pentax-110 24mm lens I picked up with the idea I might be able to use it as an ultra-small travel or street lens. I still need to try manually modifying the lens aperture to something more useable though.
