-Lauderhill might not be a great venue to schedule matches you actually want to start on time or even finish
-The Knight Riders definitely need to fix something. Don’t know exactly what, it could even be “don’t let Trent Boult get lucky”, but something.

Ok, you got me. I turned the game off early this time. I didn’t believe. Huge congrats to Shimron Hetmyer and the Orcas on the biggest chase in league history with that six off the last ball.

The most thrilling #MLC finish I’ve ever seen. Closest the league has ever been to the Super Over, two missed opportunities for LAKR to pick up a wicket in the last over (cursed maybe?) and another massive chase for the Freedom. Makes me all the more excited to see if the Orcas choke or finally get a win tomorrow night.

#MLC has had several two-in-twos this season, each accompanied by the commentators mentioning how the league has never seen a hat trick in the three years since its beginning. Dare I call that TSK gets one tomorrow night vs the Knight Riders? We will see how my hubris in this respect plays out.

TSK absolutely crushed it tonight. Thought this was going to be the night their bowling would show its weaknesses but in came Nandre Burger with the first maiden of the season and the Orcas are bowled out for the second lowest total in MLC history. Amazing work.

TSK finally brought it home. Another thriller tonight leading into a four-match weekend. Definitely going to rewatch the wicket highlights tomorrow but it’s very late.

Amazing opening match for #MLC 2025. Oakland looks like a good pitch for batters, and the home team Unicorns made it just close enough during the Freedom power play to make it look like a game before mowing down the lineup. Dominant performance, to say nothing of Finn Allen taking the sixes record. Can’t wait for more.

Having a look at this Major League Cricket thing. I'm not sure how I feel about American cricket. It seems morally wrong somehow. Looks like a lot of the players are the usual touring internationals though.

Opening night for #MLC

cricket in the coliseum is pretty fun. Cool too see it played in a stadium where my brain naturally understands the dimensions. Finn Allen is going crazy.

But Gotta tell the MLC announcers to not pit cricket and baseball against each other. If you want MLC to do well you’ll need baseball fans to convert, which should be the easiest fans to get to convert since the skills and rhythm are so similar.

Bums me out when the only way they think to promote cricket is to say it’s better than baseball.
