In 2025 the #Firefox team added Vertical Tabs, Tab Groups, improvements to PiP, PDF editing and so on while still supporting MV2 and uBlock Origin.

They're now working on Split View, customizable keyboard shortcuts and other non-AI stuff. An AI kill switch is coming in the next release.

D’autres aimeraient disposer d’outils basés sur l’IA qui soient vraiment utiles. Les souhaits exprimés par notre communauté, ainsi que notre engagement de longue date pour offrir le choix aux internautes, nous ont poussés à créer des contrôles concernant l’IA.

Mozilla has plans to add a "Turn Off Ai" toggle to Firefox.
Probably created in response to abundant criticism over its excessively enthusiastic inclusion of Ai features, the default position will still be "Ai On." You'll be required to assert your right to a slop-free browsing experience by turning Ai off manually.
But at least there'll be a single switch to do it.
If Mozilla is telling the truth.
Yet to be implemented, will this new control bring anyone back to the venerable browser?

#BioCoop impose désormais à ses fournisseurs locaux de remplir un formulaire en ligne, avec ultimatum de 10 jours pour le faire.

Avant ils venait enquêter chez les producteurs, c'était pas juste du déclaratif.

Et bon, j'vous fait un pouet là parce que le formulaire, c'est #GoogleForm.

J'ai rappelé que les gens ont le droit de tomber malade ou de partir en vacances et que donc 10 jours de délais c'est abusé. Et puis j'ai demandé une version PDF à la place du machin #GAFAM.

C'est comme #Mozilla… ils n'en finissent plus de pourrir.

#Firefox rewrote the "Edit and Resend" feature in 2022 and it has been broken since then. If I want to see the response I need to use the feature, export as Curl and run it in a terminal. If the output is a large single-line JSON, I need to export it to a file, open it in an editor and reformat.
So my top request for #Mozilla is: please add more #AI to everything ASAP.
