This #kookaburra pair loudly announced their arrival on a neighbour's roof, then pointedly gave the silent treatment to the #mynah birds screaming at them to leave. Only one mynah remaining trying to stare them down now.

The cicadas making a racket in our garden went totally silent when the kookaburras started up.

Taken from across the street, two kookaburras and a mynah bird perched atop a television aerial affixed to a chimney above a corrugated steel roof. They are currently silent but were very noisy towards each other earlier, when the mynah bird's companions were still sharing the perch.

Back in #Sydney and some adolescent #Mynah has been booted out of the nest and complaining without cease for two days now. Give it up, bird! Your mum isn’t going to resume feeding you just because you yell at her!
