For some reason, the #WienerMobile was parked at #DupontForest in Western #NC yesterday when we returned from our #hike.

There were probably groups of day-campers there, and this was some sort of promotion? I have no idea.

The large, drive-able "Wiener Mobile" from Oscar Meyer is parked in a trailhead area (taking at least 3 spaces, that's rude.) There are other cars around, including one in front of us stopping to gape at it, and there are some large deciduous trees behind it at the edge of the lot. In case you somehow do NOT know what this is, it's a large vehicle, with a flatish yellow base which supposedly looks like a hotdog bun, upon which an orange torpedo-shaped hot dog rests, with a yellow banner midway announcing this is, of course, from Oscar Meyer. There are 2 windows on this side, in addition to the windshield, but I don't see a door.Perhaps they're baked in?

@sushubh - I've sat at the wheel of one of those beasts! It's a very large truck chassis with that huge fiberglass body and it is a BITCH to drive in windy weather, not to mention its blind spots. VERY likely the person who got hit was ogling them from their blind spot and paid for it. Sad to see the Big Weiner flaccid!

The was involved in a car crash on a suburban highway. The Wienermobile hit a sedan, then rolled over while trying to compensate, and ended up on its side.

No one was injured, but the driver is now in quite a pickle with his boss. Personally, I think he was just hauling buns because he was trying to ketchup to the sedan.
