Tommy the Cat's dark fur can confuse the camera's autofocus. Coupled with his habit of curling up under the bed all day, this can make getting good photos of him a bit tricky.

A cropped macro photo of a honey bee on a purple wood violet, which I suppose is violet color and not purple.. The bee is facing upward, it's left side to the camera, it is a light colored bee and looks furry. The bridge of it's nose, the top of it's head, parts of the antennae, and part of a leg are in focus.

It's not terrible but it flew off before I realized I had the aperture wide open and a depth of field of a few mm and was just snapping off shots while it was there with a little handheld closer farther focusing on the ground. The fun of old manual lenses on anything digital.

Didn't even know my phone had taken this until I went to download some pics of orders I'd made up to send out. It's completely out of focus but I really like it :)

OK, this is the last one in the series that started on February 4th. Still a shot from the elevator and also happened to be the last one. In the shot here you see the reflection of my nephew leaving the elevator (in my direction). Actually, you can see a faint trace of my legs there too lol

das bild im querformat zeigt unschärfenlichteffekte im wald.
durch die baumstämme dringt von links hinten sonnenlicht in den wald. durch die unscharfstellung des objektivs sind die lichtflecken als bokehkreise zu sehen. quer durch das bild von links oben nach rechts unten ist ein streifen von bokehkreisen direkt einfallenden lichts zu sehen.
an dem motiv ist nichts in schärfe abgebildet. dennoch wird die stimmung freundlich warm funkelnden lichts im dunklen wald vermittelt.
