We have these chaise lounges that we push around the room depending on how were using it but the legs were collapsing inward so I got some cheap 2x3s and reinforced the underlying box frame. They both feel like much more expensive furniture now.

I am currently working on something that will really push my wood working skills to the max -- a doggie palace that can be moved easily. This thing will have modular walls, a large locking slider gate, and a pet-proof bottom.

I am super keen to 3d print a bunch of quarter scale pieces and make a scale model!

Quick project -- my coffee machine broke so I got a new one with a #4 filter. No supports or glue needed, just some clamps to seat the lettering.

I made a sketchpad holder so that I can quickly chuck everything I need into my bag. Really happy with how it came out. Neodymium magnets keep it closed.

Working on a radical different design than the L shape for the BirdNET-Go platform, only this one is comically too large to print, even in pieces, so I am going to scale this version down to a size that works with the Reolink 8MP PoE camera I'm hoping to use it with.

Making 5 foot floor lamp out of wood with a 3D printed base and polygon diffusers. This assembly is just test fitting a very small section. PIR sensor will control the self-illuminating as well as a custom light pattern based on sun and moon positioning.

We needed a super convenient place to store a serving tray we use a LOT in the movie room for snacks and drinks. I designed this bracket to take a 68 skateboard bearing but unfortunately the handle on the tray makes it too long to close the door correctly due to the shelf trim. It works upside down though! Job done.

Working out the design of a boat cradle for my SO's Adirondack guide boat. It's a bit over engineered but the idea would be to be able to use both upper support beams as a drying rack and allow the boat to be inspected, maintained, and cleaned all in one space. The straps will be made from outdoor carpet for durability and friction-less sliding against the composite hull.

I really wanted to make a WLED version of the overpriced Goovee light bars but I wasn't wild about how difficult it was to construct and the overall diffusion of my design, not to mention the amount of work necessary to make sure it's perfectly straight. This next version will slot together much nicer, be easier to construct and wire, and should have some really nice diffusion effects on both sides!
