Bei meinem ersten Besuch in Lissabon hat meine Frau uns in der Antiga Confeitaria de Belém eine Sechserpackung der legendären Pastéis gekauft - und keines der Pastéis hat es bis au eine der Bänke im Park vor dem nahegelegenen Kloster geschafft :mastoinnocent:

A friend visited lately. We baked two batches of vegan pasteis de nata over 3 days. The first batch (second image) was demolished instantly. It was a surprisingly easy thing to do, and now I have vegan(soy) custard under my belt!! The tricky bit is getting the cases and the bake right. Needs high as possible and fast. Custard colour difference due to using caster vs demarrara sugar.
