Welp, this is disgusting. This frozen avocado has a prop 65 warning. Maybe it’s because the plastic it’s packaged in leeches into it, but no thanks. I am so happy I am not interested in restaurant food anymore.

Some people say these lines evoke muscle diagrams, despite the fact they zig and zag around the body in ways which are not muscular. The hands are dramatically stylized, fingers splayed and holding tension, as if about the begin scratching again.

This is why #Prop65 is important.
Of course if nobody tests the toothpaste for children I guess nobody would know to put the warning on it, according to consumer labs this toothpaste had #lead in it.

I have a question for those who might know the history of Proposition 65: can anyone help me find why some folks might say the original cadmium levels were made up? Or can you point me to someone to ask?

The furthest I've gotten is that the cadmium recommendations were based originally on a 1981 EPA report (that I still need to read), and then ingestion limits were updated in 1997. And yet I've found several articles claiming the limits at first were made up.
