I have been on the internet since before spam. And I had #ChatGPT recently suggested I am antitech when I said that the probabilistic nature of #AI made it unethical with human data. This is a mirror of the tech industry attitude on ethics now. I've been around to see this infrastructure since 1998. The difference between AI and the industry is the difference between being anti-stick and disliking being hit with sticks. AI can't #regulate itself into the best deployment for us.

I expect that some kind of collapse of these systems is inevitable simply because of the complexity and ignorance of the #AI developers. They can't possibly predict all of the unintended outcomes of this flattening. If windows exist ahead of time to #regulate this in your local area, you should. Otherwise, it's a good time to start building frameworks for this type of regulation because the industry certainly is not thinking about it. They are busy trying to get everyone to clean up their data.
