estimated costs to travel in the most economic car in the market today: ahoxus.org/ioniq, without accounting for the assets costs (how much the car is worth).

+ € 0.02 to 0.10 / km = electricity
+ € 0.10 / km = tolls
+ € 0.05 / km for everything else (about the car)

electricity can vary wildly, especially after the ukrainian way, and still even get acquired for free.

in a typical day, traveling less than 100km near home, will cost 7eur. keep in mind that 5 of those nobody usually calculate for personal use, but i often do for myself. a bit over a year ago, electricity could go for 1 cent, but not anymore.

in the typical expensive scenario, driving 100km far from home will cost 20eur (because tolls usually go for 50% the way).

in the most expensive scenario i can imagine right now, it will go to 30eur, because electricity can cost even more than 10 cents.

on top of all this, i feel like driving in itself should cost at least 20 cents per km... just by extrapolating from taxi costs. but that will always be very complex to calculate. or at least until #aloze gets done. 😁

i never go to tamera in a straight line nor without great and/or unexpected meetings on the way. 3 times this year, i should have written more about the other 2.

i had a commitment for about 3 nights near lisbon (320km away, 400 with roads) and extended it to tamera (400km INA straight line, 540 with roads if i went straight there).

few days ago, on a beautiful wednesday, i met ze carlos who takes care of paisagismo (together with frederico) at utad, here in my city.

after talking with many people from the university in the way, we will probably take hundreds of pants and seeds off their grounds, which would die anyway, and plant in our garden, by the end of next fall around october, if he can confirm the authorization he will ask for soon. 🥰

also learned about "ervas finas", from leandro and fernando, 2 students daily taking care of a greenhouse there, called plantarium. if i remember correctly. now i need to follow up and visit the lady who makes a lot of experimentations just a few km from ahoxus, including #sintropy i understood! 😏

less than 2 weeks ago, on a friday, i started to develop yet another side project: ahoxus.org/laundry after getting inspiration from a tiktok about laundromats (among many other life developments).

yesterday i went to the streets (mostly inside the vreal town's university, utad) searching for support to this and the whole ahoxus project. and i took many notes elsewhere, in portuguese, which i shall eventually translate back here somehow...

today i wanted to do the same as yesterday, but my quest ended much earlier!

for more context,

last friday (exactly 1 week after the beginning in the laundry quest, if i made no miscalculations) i got a contract proposition in which we would pay 1500 euros for 3 months of dedicated services to build the business plan which we could use for moving the laundromat project forward with perspective partners *and* applying for sponsors...

so today i went first to "domus institute" to ask for legal advice on this contract proposition. they only re-enforced what i heard yesterday: look for a lawyer, portugal doesn't seem to offer any free or low cost labor (such as internships from university students) for such minor work that we might need.

then i went to a second lawyer, the cheapest in the area i've met previously. he would charge 60 EUR to do the work, with some room for small revisions.

finally i went to #nervir (as advised by fernando, my beloved land owner partner), an association with school formation around law topics and could finally talk with someone, fatima, who could help! not only that, they offer the same services as the expensive start pme but for free, in association with the government groups.

(i also saw an ad there for 4inova.pt which i still haven't entered to see.)

so, next, i will sign up as an unemployed person in the government (iefp) so we can later apply to the programs. then we will finally constitute the ahoxus organisation. which will also allow us to get do funding and open some internships for the university.

(believe me, all these words might sound like a lot, but they come as a simple result of much work and life enjoyment, which includes all the downsides on the way.)
