@katalogeur personally, I tend to only allowlist #JavaScript with #NoScript but that's just me hating #Cryptojacking and other #malware as well as #adware / #scams / #ads.

To any fans of #SeriousEats who limit the amount of JavaScript allowed to run in their browser and have consequently suddenly lost access to their website:
The domain responsible for this awful new behavior is the one associated with `content-loader.com`. I was able to restore my access by adding an allow rule for just this one domain.

Es gibt Seiten die erkennen wenn #JavaScript nur teilweise aktiv ist (geht ja mit #NoScript in #Firefox wunderbar) und leiten dann auf "report punkt error-report punkt com" weiter wo dann steht, dass man JavaScript einschalten soll um die Seite zu sehen und verlinken auf "enable minus javascript punkt com".
Irgendwie würde mich ja schon interessieren was für ein Gschmarri auf der Seite steht aber... Ich hab dann doch wieder das JavaScript komplett abgeschaltet. Seite funktioniert jetzt wieder.
Warning - Do not install NoScript from Brave Browser
Brave had announced that they will continue to provide support for a limited number of MV2 extensions. The issue is NoScript MV2 for Chromium based browsers is discontinued/outdated.
The only extension that is still currently maintained and can be installed from Brave is uBlock Origin and AdGuard.

I am new to using the NoScript extension (https://noscript.net) in my browser to block all JS and selectively allow it. With that approach it is very funny, or rather alarming, to see how many pages are cluttered with JS, but also do not work at all - or try to convince you exchanging your privacy for their content would be worth it.
X.com is just one example of many others... and it is probably not very surprising.
In a world increasingly afflicted by #enshittification, #Mozilla #Firefox (thanks to #uBlock & #NoScript) remains one of the usable browsers, last real contender to #google chrome.
To switch of #AI bullshit, go to about:config and set these to false:

The last one should also disable the shitty right-click "Ask an AI chatbot" menu item that has popped up recently.
