Er ist Vereinsmitglied bei uns und sehr aktiv in der Schrauber-Truppe die unsere Lastenradl Warten und reparieren.
Heute hatte er eine große Siebdruckplatte zu transportieren und das ging ganz ohne Pickup, Sprinter, oder Klaufix!
Aiolos war ihm auch wohlgesonnen und hat keine starken Windböen in seine Richtung geschickt.

On vacation in Escondido, CA. Rode the Sprinter train down to #Oceanside. The conductor commented that earlier trains were full of people going to protests. If people are protesting in deep suburban northern San Diego County, hardly a liberal bastion, that's really saying something.

Looking ahead up a snowy secondary highway. There are car tracks through the snow on both sides, but the snow is still falling and those tracks are also partly snowed over. On both sides are snow-filled ditches with dried grass showing through, bordered by wire and post fences, On the left scattered spruce trees- not too tall but very bushy as if pruned, follow the fenceline, and much farther on, snowblurred is the shadow of a mature mixed wood stand.On the right, a power line with T-poles follows the fenceline, with a snowy field inside, and in midframe some mid height thick dark (but snow lightened) spruce trees go to right and head-presumably surrounding a farm yard. It's snowing and overcast and sky and ground are a similar offwhite, made slightly violet with a filter, edges blurred.

Looking right across a snowy roadside ditch with a speed limit sign to the left that says Maximum 80(km/hr). A wavy (weakened/slightly falling in places) fence stands between the ditch and a rural property. The fence is composed of many upright posts and horizontal boards with spaces between them, all in somewhat faded whitewash or white paint. Inside the fence are a a number of snowy spruce trees to right, along with a few branches and various saplings of poplar, along with other small woodies here and there and clumps of dried grass near the fence. Our wet weather has continued, rain turning to #snow yesterday morning. Luckily we didn't get anything close to the forecast possible totals (15-20cm by today)- we had a few inches handful of cm, we did a preliminary -slushy!- shovelling yesterday, but only another cm or less by this afternoon. Still more chances today/tomorrow.

A section of driveway with a handful of cm/several inches of fresh wet snow shovelled to the right (on top of previously remaining snow pile), with the ground still mostly white with snow remnants and slush from the rain and meltwater soaked ground as the snow began. To the right we see the bottoms of a row of snow coated spruce trees, and ahead as the driveway curves to the right is a mix of spruce and poplar trees, along with a low 'fence' made from narrow planks of wood set on top of low vertical chunks of log.

Special Weather Statement for Alberta (none of this specifically mentions my area, but no doubt we'll get some part of it! I cut extra firewood today in anticipation of mucky weather. This mostly talks about stuff starting tomorrow night, but we currently have light rain which will probably turn to snow soon as it's barely above freezing.
