Overlook.

Still on the bridge, and this time zooming in at 180mm to the end of the bridge and looking at the other side of it (which, strangely, never walked to till this very day!). You can see the blurry framing, apparently I didn't use f/11 at this point. In post-processing, this one took me some time to control light and shadow with layer masks as well as saturation to some areas and even sharpness. Essentially, it's an image built from layer masks altogether!

Sunny Side Up.

Still with my Sigma 70-300mm stroll and infrared filter, and with the next "victim" to my lens - notice that most of these people got into the frame without me knowing really.
In this shot I've reversed the Red and Blue channels; a practice commonly done with infrared images (mainly to turn the sky blue I suppose but it doesn't matter anyway).
This one was taken in burst mode (like 5 or 6 successive shots) and I've combined them into one to see how it looks; I was aiming for some "ghost" effect, but it didn't appeal to me so I just ended up picking the first one in the series for processing. In the end, I've made selective sharpening for the bike rider while keeping everything else untouched.

Kahraman Pharmacy.

Having a break a bit from the monkey panorama (I still have few things to post from that panorama), and heading towards a little stroll I did with somewhat unusual "settings".
This stroll took place on January 27th, and I've used a lens that I've neglected for a long time; my Sigma 70-300mm - in addition to that, I've used it with B+W infrared filter (a filter that I didn't use in a long time as well in favor of Neewer IR filters set). Of course using my modified camera for this stroll.
Such a telephoto lens is a challenge and eventually I've been shooting mostly at 70mm, but nevertheless, it was some experience to go through and test few things.
This shot here is somewhat a test shot for a pharmacy on the other side of the road, shot at 135mm, and shot through a wire fence (or whatever it's called) hence the dark spots. Well, hope the owners don't mind me posting about their pharmacy (I'm doing free advertising here folks! 😬)
Anyway, this was the beginning of the stroll. More interesting stuff occurred later!

Back again to my discarded files with this one shot from a stroll in February 27th, 2025. As you can see, it's reddish, because it was shot using Hα filter (coupled with Voigtländer 20mm).
I've discarded this shot seemingly for the composition (like, nothing really is the focus of the shot, I remember shooting it with the sun in my eyes and couldn't really see a thing).
Here, I've decided not to process the RAW file as usual (to correct the colors), but left it as is just to show how such shots originally look out of camera. I've fixed, though, the distortion (using an approximate profile for another lens of 20mm, maybe a Sigma).
The major edit here, though, is the contrast purposefully made to show the flare from the sun clearly. I think this is the ONLY attraction for me in this random shot.
