Auf dem #39C3 bin ich leider nicht, aber wenn da #Commodore #C64 mit Netzwerk oder ähnliches ist, nach ungefähr 40 Jahren habe ich nun auch etwas mit #telnet erreichbar. dn.v3g.de auf Port 23. Mit
ccgmsterm und ähnlichem aufrufbar. Mal überlegen, mit was das befüllt werden kann.

It's that time again: for the sixth time, the team at “TELNET - KLARTEXT REDEN” has organized the Waving Cat Challenge! Your task: get our waving cat (Kitty) to wave! You have to complete nine challenging tasks to win our most beautiful T-shirt. To do this, you need an RFID tag with a fixed UID (ISO 14443), which you can also get from us at our assembly. You'll also need some hardware that you can use for programming. And, of course, perseverance! Because it's not that easy.

Was it a common thing to have a Telnet presence? Was it helpful?

I know about towel.blinkenlights.nl, but I never heard of a "serious" use case.
