To those who play audio or text based #games, what do you look for in a #computer? I’m looking at #desktopComputers, and I’m unsure if I need a good dedicated #graphicsCard since most of the games I play are #audiogames or #textBasedGames. I would prefer not to buy a #gamingDesktop with a dedicated graphics card since that drives the price up a few hundred dollars.

Aaah, I’ve just found a new way to practice my Chinese! I downloaded this game ages ago: Teahouse of the Gods by Naca Rat, https://www.choiceofgames.com/teahouse/. Just started playing it and discovered you can set the Chinese dialogue to render in hanzi or pinyin, rather than English!

For other #blind people or those into #textBasedGames, what are your favorite #accessible games? Mine these days are Lost Vault and Magic Research. Can't play most #audiogames because of #autism and processing issues. Can only play those where sounds aren't critical to the game or there aren't a lot. I also play a lot of word #games and things like that.
