In the year I was born, the World population was below 3.5 billion. In just my lifetime, that's more than doubled.
The English city where I met my wife, Coventry, has about 450,000 whereas the whole of Tasmania has only about 550,000.
These were just a couple of stats that I became aware of in the past day or two as my road trip round Tasmania comes to an end.
Sobering thoughts to head back to work with.

I hereby decree that mornings (or other worst parts of the day on an individual basis) will be deleted from life forthwith and will no longer be allowed to terrorise otherwise innocent people.
