When NASA's Lucy mission made its first flyby of asteroid Dinkinesh last week, it made the surprising discovery of a tiny moonlet. Well, hold onto your hats; a new picture from Lucy is mindblowing. That moonlet is two tiny moons gently resting side by side. This configuration is known as a contact binary, and it's very common in the Solar System, but we've never seen one up close like this and never orbiting another asteroid. If only Lucy could stick around.

I'm in immediate danger of becoming #homeless

I am #transgender with #disabilities and am a #photographer , #activist and #photojournalist . I am also a lay ordained #buddhist having received the Bodhisattva precepts and taken vows to live by them.

The Covid 19 pandemic, as you know, was devastating to the creative gig economy, and for me personally, 2022 was even worse.

I only had four paid gigs in 2022, which resulted in me being unable to pay my rent and bills, etc

As an activist in the #boston area, I regularly participate in direct actions and protests as well as providing #photojournalism coverage to help raise awareness and grow movements. Several I even co-organized.

For the last few weeks I've been asking for help on all my social media, yet am nowhere close to reaching goal to eliminate the debt and avoid the crisis of becoming homeless with my 16yr old daughter and dog. We do not have any family or anywhere to go if we're evicted.

I tried, many times over the last several months, various agencies and charities and have gotten no help from them insofar as rent arrears go. I have gotten food from them though.

I really need your help right now. I'm running out of time. I have less than a week before landlord goes to court to file.

I'm asking friends, family, comrades, allies and kind people to please donate so I can pay landlord what I owe and avoid eviction. This is an emergency. My anxiety and depression has been through the roof over this and I'm tired of feeling so hopeless with no way out of this crisis alone.

The stress is overwhelming.
I'm afraid and don't know what else to do.
