Had an awesome time taking my riders from Redmond Technology Station to the 2 brand new light rail stations on opening day for the Downtown Redmond Extension on Saturday! We had a great group and checked out all the new trail connections on a gorgeous day before finishing at the celebration festival.

My son recently launched a #WeatherBalloon with a #camera and some instruments. This #photo is from about 30km up just before the #balloon burst. It's really cool that you can begin to see the curvature of the #Earth from this height and see the darkness of #space. I was on an airliner in this area on the same day and saw some of the same clouds and frozen rivers & lakes my son captured in his photos.

What's to stop Musk, who's already tried meddling with German elections, from seizing Zelenskyy's, or any other European leader's X account, and posting something with dire geopolitical consequences? We're way past the point where it's wise for European leaders and institutions to rely on a presence on X—and other US platforms are not a good long-term solution either. More should follow the example of the @EUCommission and provide their updates directly, without middlemen, through the fediverse.
