@godotengine Thanks, dad!
@godotengine Thanks, dad!
The robot is just a bunch of Sprite2D nodes, and the mask effect on the white parts and text use a simple shader. All of this is controlled by an AnimationPlayer so it should be simple to adjust.
Made a replacement engine splash screen to fit in with my GBC-inspired pixel art style. Download from Itch, licensed CC0, do what you want with it!
Not sure why the miners would waste huge quantities of their haul on building a slippery golden floor, but it makes for good puzzling.
New puzzle mechanic: put the broken monkey statues back together!
Every good cave system needs a mysterious gold mine.
@molegato would love to see your 3D modelling workflow!
Wanted to check out Godot 4.2 and made a little sokoban style game. The idea was "what if blocks sticky". 15 levels, you can play it here: https://fenchel.itch.io/sokobam

@brianbilston I thought I hated poetry but now I love poetry.
@kennethfejer strong Jacob's Ladder vibes, don't change a thing!
@Sfb Not much at the moment!
Thanks to the person who mentioned movement stutter in the demo feedback. I couldn't think about anything else so completely refactored the player's movement controller to smooth things out.

@Sunseille wasn't really thinking about the solution, just demoing the camera! Going up wouldn't have solved the puzzle anyway: there were still 4 blocks that needed to be destroyed to unlock the door 😊
We now have a title screen. And a title. And saving and loading and progress tracking.
