@Giselle I had the same with linen, but I currently have a polished cotton thread from Barkonie on my bobbins. And this is so good, it‘s also a bit thinner than the linen thread

@Giselle I use the hodded bobbins exclusively, because I have a round bolster pillow (about 40cm in length and 23cm in diameter) used in the Erzgebirge, a part of Saxony in Germany. I haven't made any lace in a long time and am currently restarting. It goes way better than anticipated.

Cotton thread (like the one from Sajou) comes in many colors. But to be honest, I use everything that is available. Even some polyester threads, because I love colorful lace.

@Giselle I have a different type of bobbin and sometimes have a similar problem. But it differs from thread quality to thread quality on how slippery it is. Or how tight. I work with those old hooded bobbins from my great-grandma and use different types of thread. Stiffer thread tends to unwind more often than others (at least for me). And sometimes really slippery polyester too. Cotton is the easiest for me.

Also mal richtig.

Drei Abschlussshirts kommen genauso weg wie alte Winterjacken aus den letzten 20 Jahren, Hosen an die ich mich nicht erinnere sie besessen zu haben, Shirts die ich nie mochte oder zu sehr mochte.
Hemden, die ich nur für die alte Firma brauchte, Diabetikersocken(?) und viel zu weit gewordene Schlafsachen...

Und plötzlich ist der halbe Schrank leer.
Auch gut.

Nochmal drüberschauen und vieles davon in den Altkleidercontainer geben.
