Two dragon flies for this morning! A Roseate Skimmer and not a female whitetail as I initially thought, but a Checkered Setwing. (Thank you, Cameron!) resting on a Lemon Beebalm seed head. August 2023 Central Texas

I'm still only using basic camera functions as I learn better how to handle the camera and find the good light/aspect for each subject. Thankfully both of these dragonflies stayed still for a good length of time!
