We should be prioritizing rural areas and farmers for e-vehicles, and prioritizing public transit, trains, bikes, walking, etc for city dwellers. People in rural areas need ways to get around.

Shame on West Midlands Police for doubling down on this debacle. It's one thing for misguided officers to conduct an unjustified stop, another for the force to stand by it. Discouraging people cycling while simultaneously sowing distrust in the police. Well done(!)

Pedestrians, it should be our right to be distracted. It should be our right to walk and listen to music / look at the sky / cute dogs / snowflakes and not worry about getting killed. Nothing about that is dangerous except for CARS. Don't let them make you believe you are the problem.

Now just imagine how much could be done to clean up the environment, to slow climate change, to save vulnerable species from extinction, and to right the wrongs of global economic injustice if only we had four trillion dollars to spend.

THIS is why we urgently need system change. We must take that money away from those climate-wrecking fossil fuel companies and use it for good.
