You may have heard there has been a far right demo announced for Brighton this Sat 24th May. It’s called the "Great British National Strike" and is a thinly veiled racist protest.

We expect them to mobilise very small numbers in Brighton so please don’t panic.

After last summer’s horrific wave of racist riots targeting Muslims and migrants, we cannot tolerate the far-right mobilising on the streets unopposed.

Antifascists in Brighton are organising a counter-demo to occupy their space. We are meeting at 11:30 sharp by the dolphin fountain at Old Steine. Please come and bring banners, noisemakers etc. Show them that Brighton is not a space for racism! ✊🔥
