Go Board project update: it's done! The "bowls" don't have traditional lids, so there's no place to put captured stones, but I can live without it. What do y'all think?

Go Board project update: Finished 3D printing bowls. Twisting the bowl causes the "petals" to rotate open. Found it on thingiverse.com/thing:7204987

Now to fix the dead zone issue and I'll be done!

Go Board project update: I was testing the Go stones I've made so far and realized I can use them to visualize the dead zone in the magnetic field. The dead zone is thicker the higher I go so the solution to minimize it is to adhere the coil to the bottom of the board instead of the bottom of the case

Go Board project update: dead zone in magnetic field just above the induction coil extending up & out. This cone intersects w/ corners of the board causing a stone to glow less/not at all depending on how it's placed. Could tweak the board so cone doesn't intersect but this sidequest is becoming a campaign
