ADHD Symbol image No. 24528.

(by Dani Donovan)

The image is a cartoon illustration comparing the experience of managing responsibilities for individuals with and without ADHD. The top half, labeled "NON-ADHD," shows a person in a blue shirt and white pants walking confidently, holding leashes attached to four dogs. The dogs are walking in a straight line, and arrows point from the person to the dogs, labeled "RESPONSIBILITIES." The person appears calm, with musical notes above their head, suggesting a sense of control and focus.

The bottom half, labeled "ADHD," depicts a person in a green shirt and white pants, looking distressed and tangled in leashes. The person is pulling on the leashes, which are wrapped around their body, and one dog is holding a balloon. Another dog is chasing a butterfly, while a third dog sits calmly. The leashes are tangled, and the person appears overwhelmed, with a shocked expression and sweat drops around their head, indicating a lack of control and focus.

The background is dark blue, and the image includes the website "adhddd.com" and the copyright information "Copyright © 2019, Dani Donovan. All rights reserved."

It's not even a meme. It's more the typical reaction when I talk about it. Btw, I hate !

"A meme featuring a man pointing and looking skeptical. The top text reads: 'Boomers hearing terms like rejection sensitive dysphoria, emotional dysregulation, justice sensitivity, time blindness, decision paralysis, task avoidance cycle, etc.' The bottom text says: 'You made those words up.'"

Most of the time people add "we all do X sometimes". Yes. But I am describing my whole life.

A Twitter post by the account "Hell on Wheels" ([@]rollwthepunches), which includes a small cartoon image of a person in a wheelchair. The text reads: "It's so irritating when you describe a symptom to someone and they go 'I think we all do that'. We all pee too, Karen, but if you're doing it 60 times a day there's probably a problem."
