Damn, a bunch of great Australian bands are currently visiting Germany and I will miss all of them. Last weekend Clowns played just a 45 minute train ride from where I live. Frenzal Rhomb, the legendary Australian punk rock band, is back with their newest single, “Where Drug Dealers Take Their Kids.” The band has been away from the music scene for six long years – I couldn’t be happier to hear they are back and with a brand new album too – but they have come back with a bang, delivering a punk rock masterpiece that is bound to resonate with fans of the genre.
Frenzal’s newest song starts with a catchy guitar riff that sets the tone for the rest of the track, while the lyrics, although somewhat dark, are witty and filled with social commentary (as you’d expect from Frenzal Rhomb).
