Just got home from a long volunteer day with multiple bat rescue transports adding up to 175 miles.
–One Northern Yellow Bat with her three pups.
–One orphaned baby Evening Bat.
–One orphaned baby Seminole Bat.
Here’s your semi-regular reminder:
Be careful when trimming trees and palms, several of our SE bat species roost in dry palm fronds or spanish moss.
A picture of the mama, with the usual disclaimer: she is being handled by a licensed and vaccinated professional. Do not try this at home 😉
