A tracing of a graffito in Bethesda, north Wales that may be the only known depiction of St. Ann's church, consecrated in 1813 but buried by the mid-19th century under Penrhyn quarry slate tips. A replacement church, also St. Ann's, was built nearby and survives today.

Painting of the Last Judgement from Haukipudas Church, Finland, by Mikael Toppelius (1770s). Notice the 'biting corpse' in the lower left-hand corner. Toppelius was known for incorporating folkloric material into his Baroque style and the biting corpse may represent local beliefs in what might be termed 'the restless dead', more commonly known as 'vampires'. The Catholic Church of St. Apollinaris in Remagen on the Rhine (Rhineland-Palatinate) was built in the mid-19th century in the neo-Gothic style. It is said to house the relics of St. Apollinaris of Ravenna.

Altar area of a 15th or earlier church in Anglesey. Three small windows lie low above the altar, with candlesticks and a blue glass Celtic cross ornament in the right corner. It is fair weather and blue sky outside. The wooden gate to the altar is inscribed with 'OP 1764'.
