Just got my Flippydrive for my Gamecube. Very easy to install. I'm still waiting until I get an SD extender to screw in the 4 Gamebit screws at the bottom of the cube, but outside of that the process of getting this thing installed was really easy and it seems to work well
Still gotta get the SD card set up but when that's done this cube will be unstoppable

Finally did the A/V mod on my #atari 2600 four switch console.
Picture and audio quality is quite nice now. No more RF hassle!

Swapped my Dreamcast's PSU. Planning on doing a GDEMU install at some point, and while the stock PSU is perfectly good, it being a PAL unit means it doesn't like the 12V rail not being used. The resistor trick in the stock PSU seems a bit unsafe, so decided to replace it with the Robot_Retro unit.
I'm using a uGreen Nexode mini 30W as the AC-DC.

Finally getting around to a several year old project of restoring a spare Game Boy I have. I think I picked this up at a goodwill but it's been so long I don't remember. This shell was absolutely DISGUSTING but it's nice and clean now as best as I can get it.
I don't plan on retrobriting it because I want it to show off it's character when it's in working condition. Once I replace all the corroded battery contacts, I'll test it to see if it works. Thankfully, none of the corrosion seeped into the main boards at all so I have high hopes for it.
If it works, I'll get to work replacing the screen, and order some speaker and power mods to modernize it a bit. Unsure if I'm gonna go with a rechargeable battery or not sometime down the line.

I've been debating if I should mod my vita...🤔
I modded my 3ds a few years ago and it was surprising easy. All the memes were right lol. But reading through the vita guide I felt like it'd be more complicated and I dont wanna mess anything up 😩
Also part of why I didn't care about modding my 3ds was because the eshop and online servers were going down so it didn't matter anyways. But both are still up for the vita and I use them on occassion and don't want my psn to get banned...
I know I could just use a new account for it but then my achievements wouldn't be synced 😭
Maybe I should just try to platinum my vita games beforehand? Even though some of the trophies are pretty extensive 😮💨

I forgot to give an update on this.
Was able to update my BIOS, but then the dashboard wouldn't boot. I was able to use a temporary dash from a dvd I burned with the Xbox Softmod Extra Disc. After trying out one dash and layer switching to another, I landed on one I enjoyed (UnleashX).
Another thing: Replaced the hard drive with a spare 1tb ssd and upgraded the fan to be ultra quite. Now the thing makes barely any noise. You can slightly hear the fan and that's about it. My graphics card on my desktop is louder than this entire console now.
