After one more visit to the #Telstra shop, #DLW has a working, top-of-the-line surveillance device. I'm about to factory reset her old phone and install #F-Droid as soon as I pour myself another drink. Or perhaps a modest queue of drinks.

Not making this up: #DLW mutes the telly so that it doesn't distract her from the vital task of fictionalising her life on #Facebook. When she goes outside for a ciggie she un-mutes it. Presumably this is because it's unhealthy to let all that sound accumulate in the pipes without occasional venting. At the very least, the telly must find it cruelly frustrating to be gagged like that. I swear most of the people I know have lives no less replete with magical thinking than anybody living 1,000 years ago.
