The Beauty of NixOS is that it doesn't have to be a separate OS just like the whole #Linux #community, so it's best if u can make a NixOS #config that'll do the same. Custom spin is ur choice, but I don't prefer #fragmentation or don't like people avoiding new distros/spins.
Maybe u can give people a #NixOS config instead of installing from scratch
So the #workflow for trying ur spin is:
git clone and cd into it,
nh os boot -a or nixos-rebuild switch boot
