@adamw Thanks, glad to see it reported in the bug tracker. Gotta go with #Fedora41 Workstation for my #LinuxInstallParty. Any chance to get an updated ISO file at some point?

I'm having continuous problems with #Fedora. It started on #Fedora41 with internet problems (couldn't connect to my network neither using wifi or lan). I then tried to install #Fedora42 from liveusb where the installer just froze every time.
I chose to install Fedora 41, and then upgrade to Fedora 42 from the software center. That did work but next day connectivity issues reappeared. I want to switch.
Upgraded my main workstation from #Fedora40 to #Fedora42. Smooth experience overall, with just a couple of quirks:
1. Globally installed #Python packages haven't survived the upgrade and had to be re-installed
2. The latest version of #Fedora that #veracrypt publishes a package for is 40. This was the main reason I didn't upgrade to #fedora41. But version 40 got too close to EOL, so I had to learn how to build VeraCrypt from source code.
part 1/2
After the last `dnf update` and system restart, I keep hearing the sound effect for (un)plugging of a USB drive from time to time. I don't see any other symptoms but I do see a bunch of these on the kernel log:
```
[ 4873.577447] usb 1-4: reset full-speed USB device number 2 using xhci_hcd
```
ls-usb doesn't help identify what device is that:
```
/: Bus 001.Port 001: Dev 001, Class=root_hub, Driver=xhci_hcd/5p, 480M
|__ Port 004: Dev 002, If 0, Class=Vendor Specific Class, Driver=[none], 12M
```
Anyone know? It's driving me crazy. I have work to do..

Trying to upgrade my #Fedora41 to #fedora42beta mostly because risk addiction and whooo squirrel! I mean, new fonts.
Listing the issues encountered so far:
- gstreamer1-plugins-bad-free, gstreamer1-plugins-bad-freeworld and kf5-kitinerary making the upgrade unable to start because there was no equivalent in the fc42 repositories
- ghostty (that I don't use) induced version conflicts with some libncurses, resolved nuking ghostty and feeling better for it
Now going to apply and reboot. If you never read from me again, it failed.
Okei.
No esim. 7 Gt kaikenlaista välimuistissa asiustavia paketteja. Problem: solved. Tunnen itseni: hieman nolostuneeksi mutta lopulta ihan fiksuksi.

Nun tuts!
> sudo dnf install setroubleshoot

Ok, I don't get this at all.
Under #Fedora41, Joplin was 100% inaccessible to #Orca, however, under #Slint15, the flatpak version works 100% with #Orca. fedora had Orca 47.3 while my copy of Slint came with Orca 44.1.
The last time I ran #Slint, it came with Orca 46.2.
Does anyone have any idea as to where this discrepancy came from & how to fix it?
