I finished it! It took me over a year, I made many mistakes, frogged a lot, learned several new techniques and it's only the blocking that makes it look competent, but it's done. I used crochet to neaten the edges and give me a place to add the tassels. Overall I'm happy with it and so is it's new owner so that's a win. #yarncraft #fibrearts #finishedproject

A scarf double knit in maroon and dark grey with long tassels in the same colours. It's laid out in a loose offset zigzag so that you can see that colours in the plaid pattern are inverted on the opposite side. The background is the top of an ironing board covered in a zigzag pattern in gradient shades of teal.

The tool wall is finished! IKEA BESTÅ, SKÅDIS, UPPDATERA, and a whole lot of 3D modeling and printing.

I bought the furniture last November. I built the furniture in December. I spent the next six months modeling the custom hangers, and today I published all the 3D printed parts to Printables. Done done. Hooray!

A tall cabinet is composed of two IKEA BESTÅ bottom and two top cabinets with glass doors. Things are vaguely visible through the doors. The bottom cabinets have an oak top. Above that, there are two IKEA SKÅDIS pegboards. The pegboards have a bunch of tools and things hanging from them. The top cabinets have an open shelf below the doors, and each shelf holds 7 rolls of 3D printer filament in carboard boxes. A 3D printer enclosure is to the right, mostly out of frame.

The same IKEA BESTÅ cabinets and SKÅDIS pegboards as before. Now the glass doors are all open. The bottom cabinets are full of IKEA UPPDATERA bins. The top cabinets have smaller UPPDATERA bins on the top shelf and an assortment of cardboard boxes on the lower shelf.

A close-up shows just the IKEA SKÅDIS pegboard. It has all the attachments described in this thread plus a few more. On the tabletop below there is a carved wooden block and a printed air quality meter.

Finally finished making a coat for @dev_ric that I started over a year ago. Now he has a coat that pretty much fits and doesn't look like a dressing gown.

Finished cross stitch of a mermaid with a light sage green tail with a teal ribbon draped around here. There are a lot of beads to accent the pattern.

I still maintain they look more like a group of dancers (exotic) rather than scary demons. Then again I'd probably spend a lot of time flexing if I was as buff as these #reaperbones blood demons.

It is finished!!! Nearly 9k stitches in this guy y’all and I’m so excited I completed it. It’s not the biggest project I’ve ever done but I think it’s definitely one of the most complex. Since I posted this drawing to Patreon, I've been busy working on a website for the chapbook, figuring out fundraising ideas, and talking to the printer. I'm thinking of offering this particular drawing as a print — what do you think? Wouldn't this crow look great on your wall? *I* think so!
I'm both over-the-top excited to finally be done, and utterly at a loss for how to celebrate. Isn't that weird? So I'm trying to do that at least a little bit right here, right now.
