I thought it was time for an update on the shop. The sliding door is 95% complete and the breakthrough to the old shop is done (complete with ramp). At the moment, we are working on the wiring. When that is done the fume extraction system will be next.
The pictures show the shop from the outside and interior showing the newly built workbench.

When they first came out, #gp3 #EBS volumes seemed to have around a 2ms read latency, but it has improved to be comparable to gp2 (~0.6ms from what I see). Last night I moved a large and busy (for us) workload to gp3 and it's fine. I'm not comfortable with IOPS headroom, though. If I increase that, how long does the change take, and does it impact the volume performance while it runs? #AWS #question
