Hallo @Nekator, weil ich z.Zt. Probleme mit dem #Growatt Neo 800 habe, bin ich auf Deinen tröt gestoßen. Nur mal ne Frage zum Verständnis: Welche Informationen bekommt man mit Deiner Vorgehensweise aus dem WR? Ich erhalte alle für mich relevanten Infos direkt von einem #shelly der die Leitung zum WR überwacht.

Ich habe mal ne Frage an die Experten von #Balkonsolaranlagen. Ich habe seit ca. 2 Mon. ein #BKW mit 2x 430W Panels und einem #Growatt NEO 800M-X am laufen. Bisher lief alles problemlos. In den letzten 2 Wo hat die Anlage allerdings mehrfach komplett abgeregelt (Ausgang 0W). Kontrollleuchte am WR Dauer-Rot. Habe dann den WR vom Netz und beide Panels getrennt. Nachdem ich wieder alles angeschlossen hatte, regelt die Anlage wieder ganz normal hoch und läuft problemlos weiter. Das gleiche passiert in unregelmäßigen Abständen alle paar Tage wieder. Die Anlage läuft mangels Internet komplett offline. Gibt es da Erfahrungen mit diesem WR Typ? Oder was könnte die Ursache sein. Hab bisher keine Erfahrung mir #Steckersolaranlagen

Presently I manage my #growatt solar hybrid inverter and batteries through a combination of the #shinephone app, the #growatt web portal, and #homeassistant

This works fine for normal stuff, although I need to manually control battery charging times to match up with #OctopusEnergy tariff I'm on of #IntelligentOctopusGo

None of this is too difficult, but it is a bit annoying to have to remember to do all the right things in order to control the combination of kit and my #Myenergi #Zappi charger to ensure charger my #EV doesn't drain my solar batteries.

So I thought I would give #WonderWatt a trial and see if this helps automate and manage schedules and IOG charging correctly.

They offer a 14-day trial, which doesn't appear to be functionally limited, so I'm able to confirm if this does meet all my needs. A monthly subscription of around $6 (not sure what that is in £ for me in the UK) isn't too bad a deal if indeed it does simplify everything for me.

I have a #growatt hybrid inverter which is the base 3.6kW unit. Attached to this I have 2 x Growatt GBLI6532 batteries, each with a 6.5kWh capacity.

Whilst that means my total capacity is 13kWh, the Growatt system only allows a depth of discharge down to 10%, making the capacity a maximum of 11.7kWh in real-world usage.

My background household load averages between 200W and 250W.
My 6kW ASHP runs somewhere between 400W and 600W for normal idle use to keep the internal temperature at or around 20C which is what it's set to.

Given weather compensation on the ASHP, the power can average a little higher on colder days and be as high as 1kW when the outside temperature is below 0C.

Whilst it is technically possible to have up to 4 battery modules connected in series, the GBLI6532 is not that cheap here in the UK, and given it's really only a problem for a handful of weeks that is why I don't intend to increase the capacity further.

Today I had additional #solar panels installed at home. The new inverter brand is #Growatt. In order to monitor data, it requires a mobile application called #ShinePhone.

Guess where the application starts submiting requests right after opening it up. Yes, all Chinese servers.

I'm going to take a look into seeing what sort of experience my #solar system can be if I cut the internet feed of my data back to the #growatt servers in China.

#Growatt has no open API, so everything is being reverse-engineered or identified through Modbus registers. Slow approach, but progress is being made.

I'm currently using #grott in proxy mode and will set up a new docker for #grottserver and see if I like how that interacts with my #mqtt and #homeassistant setup.

My preference would be to still send the data to #Growatt because the website and App are actually fairly decent.
Just wish they had a simple and easy-to-use API for customers so that things like ToU to change battery in charge mode to avoid EV drain were a thing.

Quite annoyed today as my #growatt inverter is not able to communicate with the #growatt #oss monitoring platform.

Nothing wrong on my end, and traffic is leaving for the internet. Clearly, they are *yet again* doing maintenance for a very long time.

Broke between 01:10 and 01:15 this morning, and as I type this it is now 11:25, so that's more than 10 hours of outage.

Not good enough. I need to go into the settings to set the battery to support upcoming #ev charging.

Fed up with them now 😡
