Absolutely. First degree should be free. All TAFE course should be free… that’s how a govt grows society — and socio-economic activity to the national benefit … it’s a no brainer policy. One must therefore deduce it is deliberate policy to keep the population as uneducated as possible in order to derive the most profit from it… I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but looking at the evidence what can one conclude?

Nice, $1000 off my HECS/HELP thanks to the changes in the indexation. Kind of bummed not to be working in Aus at the moment as I'd have paid it off this yr :(
I'd rather see people that have never earned an above average wage cleared of their HECS debt. Obviously, it was never of benefit to them, and we held them back from earning a wage sooner for no reason.
