Dear God, Universe, Ancestors & Most High, protect my spirit from projections. I release other people’s jealousy, doubt, and fear. Their reflection is not mine. I walk in truth and stand in light. Amen and Ashe.

As avid followers may or may not have noticed, I usually share a post on Tuesdays at 4 pm CET. But yesterday, I didn’t. While I’ve been thinking about what I could post – the ideas ranged from an array of picture posts to various topics I’ve encountered, I just did not feel anything settling. So much happened, again, I tried to keep up with getting foods into me and managing the basics, absorbing heavy impacts and transforming … and suddenly Tuesday was over.

Recalibrating

It’s not that there is nothing to share or to talk about. It’s more like there is too much because linear time seems to have dissolved and everything happens at once. Some things want to be named, but I don’t even have words for them, yet, for others, the words I have just don’t suffice, and yet others will come out with a bunch of stuff that I just can’t facilitate, at the moment. I think, what’s really happening is a recalibration. A big one.

Natural Cycles

Last week, a friend of mine picked me up, and we drove to the river. I hadn’t been by the water in ages. Also, he showed me his old stomping grounds which I had never been to, before. Long story short: When we arrived, we discovered that the water had gone. This is not unusual, as the river Elbe has tides and some river arms will have ebb during low tide.

The world in the tidal flats is a different one than when the water is in. Certain life forms get a breather they otherwise couldn’t catch, hidden things come to light (like bicycles, or tellies that have been illegally discarded), the sun reflects differently, and the smell changes. Different things can be explored. You may see a dog walk where usually boats are floating.

When we walked on through a little park by the main arm of the river that was still filled with water and busy with ship traffic, we saw the flood line of spring tides marked by branches and driftwood the last one had left on the lawn. This gave me a clue of how it must be yet a different world, when the water rises that far over the banks. I have seen it many times in other areas by the river. Suddenly trees grow in the water, where we walked would have been fish and sea weed, the smell would change, yet again, and the sun would reflect differently on the water. Spring tides, though not the norm, are not a rare occurrence at river Elbe.

The reason why I am pointing this out in the given context, is, that it shows how Nature recalibrates on a regular basis. Some happens in bigger cycles, some in smaller cycles. The different seasons are another example. Day and night. I just learnt that the sun shifts its poles about every 10,5 years, which must have an impact on us, as life on Earth would not be possible without the sun.

Conclusion

So, I didn’t post, yesterday, because I am recalibrating. It just took me a while to figure out that this is what’s happening. After all the spring tides, the water has ebbed away, and I am having a look at what got swamped into the flats, before the tide comes back in. It is the perfect time to do so, as today in the early morning hours this part of the world welcomed the Spring Equinox.

With this in mind:

Happy Ostara!

Are you ready to shine a bright light of awareness on the path of beingness, today?

Much Love,Steffi
