Friday two weeks ago was the first bright, crisp winter day. I had a mid-day meeting at the business school on the other side of #Bergen. I #hiked there along the #Fjellveien path.

I wish I knew how we could combat the dissassociative feuge state the majority are in.

I'm just about to enter my 3rd year suffering from #LongCovid - which many of my peers believe is made up. Before my only #covid infection, I #hiked 100K/week on top of work. 3 years later I can walk a few blocks to work. I'm too unstable for the punshing trails we have, and I love.

I'm in constant (sometimes debilitating) cognitive dissonance in the public. I hate it. I'm angry all the time.

The best part, though, is how absolutely no one cares, and there is basically ZERO help for us. I wouldn't even wish it on trump... It's too cruel.

Went to the #grandcanyon for the first time recently. I have a pretty bad fear of falling, but I #hiked down the bright angel trail just enough to see some #nativeamerican #pictographs. Some of them are as old as 4000 years.

@hiking Last week I #hiked 5 days of the #ViaTransilvanica between #Mediaş and #Blaj in #romania. It was a nice walk with good accomidation! This is a good option for anyone looking for a #HikingAdventure .

#Hiked Adams Run Trail near #Akron last Saturday. Pretty nice little 3.3 mile loop with some stream crossings and moderate hill climbs. It was pretty nice after the rain that had passed through and wasnt too muddy, though all the fungi had melted from it. Took the new #FujiFilm #100Sii camera out too, love this camera so far. Need to work on exporting from CaptureOne in better quality in a reasonable size.

Earlier this week I #hiked from #Seaford to #Eastbourne - over the #SevenSisters, and up and down #BeachyHead. A fantastic ~18km #hike in great weather ... with a *lot* of hills! 98 "flights of stairs" total, according to my phone 😮‍💨😅😅#UKHiking #SouthDownsWay #countryside #sussex #england

My friends and I used to love spontaneous trips. Now, we need to plan things meticulously but back then, it was the wild wild west. We decided to go to this very popular cove but we were given two options — either to hire a boat that is so freaking expensive, or just traverse one of the mountains for a reasonable price? I’d bet you’ll never know what we chose.

So, have you ever #hiked 5+ hours to spend time at the beach? Asking for a friend.

🥾 #Hiked a new-to-me trail yesterday. The sun was bright, the snow was gone & the river was running fast. Walked 8KM along the #MillRunTrail by the #SpeedRiver in Cambridge (ON) & spotted the following birds:

Lesser Scaups
Canada Geese
Ruddy Ducks

Downy
Red Tailed Hawk
Blue Jays
Red Winged Blackbirds

Today we drove into the #garajonay national park and #hiked up to the ermita de lourdes. It’s a very tranquil place that feels like its in a mythical forest. Moss covers the ancient trees with long fronds of verdant green. It’s very humid, but also cool compared to the lower areas of La Gomera. The diversity of plant life is astounding.
Near the base of our hike, we stopped for a watercress soup that was truly delicious. It came with Gofia flour to thicken it to taste.

I kind of love that if I'm wondering exactly how far I just #hiked, I can just look it up on #Google and it'll tell me instantly.

But I kind of hate that Google knows exactly how long my #hike was before I do.

(Turns out it was a little over four miles, which is a little under 6.5 euro-miles.)

After living in #LosAngeles for years I finally #hiked up #MountHollywood and took my cliche photo of #GriffithObservatory with #DowntownLA behind it. Mother nature really put on a show that day.

So, looking at this map, I think we did the one mile portion of the Gorge Trail, from the Main Entrance to the Mile Point Bridge and back when we #hiked (sort of) #WatkinsGlen #StatePark yesterday

Then I #hiked up randomly and found my way to Craigieburn.
