Started this fella on the #IdiotsPlayDNDWeekend as someone had brought down lots of #ArmyPainter stuff. Wasn’t vibing it initially, wasn’t familiar with the paints, and good god - Army Painter starter brushes are a crime. Kudos to folks who use them - flummoxed me.

I got out the #JohnBlanche Army Painter range and built on what I had started. Getting going now - I’m noticing with the range, the depth of the colours - you get a great level to highlight up from.

Tested out the John Blanche paint set from the Army Painter by painting up this Plague Marine. I'm really happy with how it came out, and I can say the new paints are 100 times better than the old ones!

Two paint sets from The Army Painter. Both have a piece of John Blanche’s Art on the cover and are volumes of paints designed in tandem with him.

Been rereading some of the old codex’s of 2nd and 3rd edition as of late. Though I think the game inquisitor is my favorite from games workshop.

It's been a very good week or so in Inspiration Corner, mostly thanks to fantasy legend John Blanche's Voodoo Forest and Scions of Voodoo. An absolute lesson in dark, strange, beautiful world-building, I'm having a great time working through them both.
