I am back from my first solo canoe trip, 4 days and 3 nights in Killarney Provincial Park. I took no technology so there are no pictures but the autumn colours, clear lakes, and stunning mountains were incredible. I have reassured my conviction and proven clearly that I am capable of this level of trip. I paddled about 33km total over 11 hours of paddling averaging 3kph. The test was not complete because conditions were ideal, but I'm ready for something more challenging, maybe 75km? Spring can't come soon enough.
