I've begun getting into leather work, my first project was a leather cover for my notebook. That turned out pretty good. My latest was a leather pouch, so I could learn stitching, not really straight stitches but not too bad.

This here is my most beloved creation, my final course project, an original design inspired by the valkyries myth and crafted completely by hand with only manual tools.
500h patterning, cutting, tooling, moulding, stitching, burnishing, dying, painting, hardenind, aging... Lots of time invested learning from basically zero, but not bad for a first armour!
It took me 4 years but I reached a point of being really proud of this

A pic of one whole shoulder pad, 5 pieces overlapping with a chain of golden knots decorating the borders and a round piece both front and back of the shoulder. And the last is a very close pic of the braid lace stitching of the corset, intertwining golden and red leather lace

To cut in these big hides feels a bit heart twisting, especially the thicker ones. One wrong cut and you can mess up alot

Another view of the bag. This time the stitched reinforced leather spine is fully in view, with D-rings at the top and bottom for attaching it to other things. A leather cord wraps loosely around the bag, tucking under the spine at several locations. It's not holding anything now, but would be useful for lashing things to the outside if the bag, or for lashing the bag to something else.
