#ThrowbackThursday #TBT: A photo I took 3 years ago today of a light installation in front of #MagdeburgCathedral. Kiddo and I visited the Magdeburg Christmas market last night, but we didn't walk all the way to the cathedral square to see these #Lichterwelt lights. Just behind the #nativityScene is the western portal of the #cathedral, so I'm sneaking in a #Doorsday too.

"Lichterwelt" (World of Lights) in #Magdeburg features LED light sculptures all over the downtown area, many of which relate to the history of Magdeburg. On the right, in front of #MagdeburgCathedral, you see part of a representation of the famous Hemisphere experiment (see second photo). The light installations are free of charge and on from November to February.

Yippy kai yay, Torro II is here to stay! The slightly smaller brother of Torro I has also only three legs 🦿. A little bit lighter but still pretty heavy with its 3 kilo. It got slits horizontal and vertical plus.. circles from which all light shine through 🔆

Yeej :pensive_party_blob: unwrapping / demolding time today and its looking pretty good. Already sanded the lid back and fits like a glove 🧤 on the base.

Trinity Two.

The main body of the lamp is made from concrete that is held up by three slender stainless steel legs made of threaded rods.
Two white fiberglass braided silicone wires are guided from the top of the lamp to a black cord switch....

Hi hi 👋🏻 started building on the mold or actually molds for Torro II. Torro II will consist of three parts instead of the two of Torro I. It will make the process easier at the end and hopefully safe some weight in the end result. More soon!
