A small mob of wallabies apparently bounding along a stretch of bitumen road in a National Park. Behind them is typical monsoon rainforest, an understory of grasses and palms, with moderately dense larger trees. The wallabies are actually crossing the road, not travelling down it.

In the foreground is a large waterfall plunge-pool, bordered on both sides by sheer sandstone cliffs. The water is clear, green and inviting, and a half-dozen or so people are swimming in the pool. At the far end of the pool, at a low point in the two cliffs two waterfalls are cascading into the plunge pool.

Not sure what you would have seen on the video, but the #Litchfield #Canal project is fascinating. Back when a new #motorway was built round #Birmingham the builder was forced to provide an #aqueduct in anticipation of the #volunteers #raisingfunds to rebuild the canal. It sits in mid-air to this day. I drive under it regularly. Read more at:

A red-tailed black cockatoo taking off from the top of a tree with a nut in its beak. The bird is, as advertised, black all over apart from a bright red fan across its tail feathers, which are spread and clearly visible in this shot. The bird has only just launched itself and is barely clear of the tree, still almost vertical, both wings spread and slightly blurred, and beating forwards, outlined against a clear blue sky.
