A small mob of wallabies apparently bounding along a stretch of bitumen road in a National Park. Behind them is typical monsoon rainforest, an understory of grasses and palms, with moderately dense larger trees. The wallabies are actually crossing the road, not travelling down it.

A road leads the eye into the picture. On the immediate left and right is brown grass and shrubs, lightly dusted with frost. Ahead, a mountain range descends from the right to meet the road, which curves out of sight. Past the first flank of the mountain, a dense white, very low cloud bank obscures the view apart from some snow-capped peaks above and behind.

A former railway line called Vennbahnweg, only for cyclists and pedestrians, on a rainy and windy morning shortly after sunrise in early autumn, surrounded by trees.
This path runs from Aachen (Germany) via Monschau (GE), Waimes (Belgium), and Saint-Vith (BE) to Troisvierges in Luxembourg, covering a total of 130 kilometers.

Very early in the morning, it is still dark, street lamps give light, trees along the road make their shadow on the road surface. A car drives quickly past in the now almost empty street before the traffic jam begins. On the other side of the road a new apartment complex rises. A crane towers high in the air.

A bizarre coincidence. In shot are a human, three animal statues: zebra, baby giraffe, near life-size adult giraffe, and flying immediately overhead, a fruit-bat being pursued by a Currawong. A combination of animals unlikely ever to be repeated, let alone photographed. I was following the currawong and bat, and they flew into this shot. Hard to say who is photobombing whom.
